First.. I want to say that I am and always have been a HUGE fan of Vincent Price. An important icon of cinema, a great chef, a lover of fine art all rolled up into one very talented man with a legendary career and life. A chance meeting brought Victoria and I together for an exhilarating conversation about her father this past March and I knew in an instant this would make a great event! The Evening begins at 5:30pm at Count Orlok's Nightmare Gallery where guests will be treated to a unique tour of Salem's ONLY Monster museum with Victoria Price and owner James Lurgio.
At around 6:00pm guests will attend a lecture/talk next door at SATV with Victoria Price entitled "Vincent Price's extraordinary life as recalled by his daughter".
The talk will continue for about 50 minutes.
After the talk, guests will finish the event at The Scarlet Letter Press and Gallery (a stones throw away) for an evening of wining and signing amongst the Spirits of the Dead art show inspired by Edgar Allan Poe . Victoria Price will introduce the Vincent Price Signature Wine Collection with Poe label artwork by artists Abigail Larson and Gris Grimly. Samples of the wine will be available for the first time in Massachusetts. Enjoy a sample served with a selection of charcuterie. Please feel free to bring an item for signing or a signature card can be provided. Victoria's book will also be available for purchase there.
